Indian cricket team is under fire for not using the vacant days well to prepare for the ongoing Test series. They are facing the upshot, trailing 0-2 in the series. The Virat Kohli-led team India faced 31 runs loss in Edgbaston and even more humiliating defeat at Lord's, where England crushed them by an innings and 159 runs.

Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed too pointed out India's lack of preparation before going into the Test series. He added that Pakistan was more conscious of the tough conditions.

"I have toured England twice and both times Pakistan team performed well. According to me, whichever Asian team travels to England tend to struggle. India is no different as the conditions there are really tough," Sarfraz told reporters.

Unlike India, Pakistan had played two three-day practice matches against county sides during Sarfaraz's first tour to England in 2016. The result was more than satisfying for an Asian team. Pakistan had managed to draw the series by 2-2.

"I guess Pakistan's preparations were good. If we are talking about my first tour there, we had reached England 25 days before the start of the series. We had a 10-day camp and then played two practice games - which helped us immensely."

The second tour also saw a draw by 1-1 under Sarfraz's leadership. "As for the last tour, Pakistan played almost three practice matches and then faced England," he said. "As a player and a captain, I think our preparation was better and we got better results."

India still has 3 matches left to turn things but they will have to play beyond their limitations.
