Sri Lanka will play for pride once again when they take on South Africa in the fifth ODI at Colombo on Sunday. Sri Lanka pulled things back in the fourth ODI as they won the match by 3 runs. A 3-2 loss is always better than a 4-1 loss. And Sri Lanka would go all guns blazing to do so. South Africa would come hard at Sri Lanka after suffering a narrow loss in the fourth ODI. Sri Lanka showed they would not go down fighting and put up a brave show in the fourth ODI. They eked out a win by 3 runs in the fourth ODI and would look to finish off the ODI series on a high with another win in the fifth ODI. The win in fourth ODI would have given a new lifeline to Sri Lanka who would go all out to bag another match to make it 3-2 series loss. South Africa, however, would like to end it as 4-1 win.

Best economical pick – All-rounder Dasun Shanaka was the star of the show for Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI with a rapid half-century with the bat along with the vital wicket of Reeza Hendricks with the ball. He is available at a salary of just 8.5, so you can buy a big fish with cheap rate.

Top captains & vice captains – The cheeky South African middle order batsman JP Duminy is without a doubt a hero for his side in this series so far. He is the highest run getter for South Africa in this series so far with 215 runs in just four matches with an astonishing average of 71.67. If he maintains his form of play then it will be very difficult for Sri Lanka to win the last match of this 5 match ODI Series. The 29-year-old Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera will be key to Sri Lanka's performance in the final ODI. He has been performing well with both bat and ball in this ODI series.  Perera scored a half century and picked up two crucial wickets at the end of innings in last match. Thisara Perera bowled a terrific penultimate over which fetched only eight runs along with a wicket. He will look to continue his good form in the final ODI too.

Smart pick – In the fourth ODI Sri Lanka were helped by a collective batting display led by Kusal Perera (to score their first 300 in this series) who went on a boundary-hitting spree, first bringing up his 2000 ODI runs before scoring a fifty off just 28 balls.

Cautious Pick – It there was something bothering the home side most was their top order. In the first 3 ODIs they had opening partnerships of 2, 13 and 20. Upul Tharanga’s form was a worry as he is their best batsmen and failed totally in this series so far.

My XI – JP Duminy (Captain) Thisara Perera (Vice-Captain), Kusal Perera, Dasun Shanaka, Hashim Amla, Reeza Hendricks,Suranga Lakmal, Lungi Ngidi, Akila Dananjaya, Quinton de Kock, Dhananjaya de Silva
