Schedule of India's men and women tour to New Zealand in 2019 released

India’s men and women’s team will arrive in New Zealand in late January.

India’s men and women’s team will mark the start of their next year’s cricket calendar by touring New Zealand

India’s men and women’s team will feature in double-headers against the Black Caps and the White Ferns to mark the start of their next year’s cricket calendar.  

Both India sides will arrive in New Zealand in late January. While Virat Kohli and company will play a five-match ODI series and three T20Is against the Kiwis, the Women in Blue will square off against the White Ferns in three ODIs and as many T20Is.

The Indian men will head off to New Zealand after finishing their commitments in Australia. McLean Park, Napier will host the first ODI on January 23, 2019. Mt Maunganui and Hamilton are the other venues for the One-Day Internationals whereas Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton will stage the Twenty20 Internationals.

The Indian women will begin their ODI series a day after the men team's first ODI at the same venue. All the three women’s ODIs will be held a day after three of men’s ODIs while all three T20Is will be double-headers.

As per New Zealand Cricket’s official website, their international summer will start with two Tests against Sri Lanka in December. After a feast of white-ball cricket against India, the Black Caps side take on Bangladesh in a three-Test series in March.

January 28: Third ODI (Mt Maunganui)

January 31: Fourth ODI (Hamilton)

February 3: Fifth ODI (Wellington)

February 6: First T20I (Wellington)

February 8: Second T20I (Auckland)

February 10: Third T20I (Hamilton)

January 24: First ODI (Napier)

January 29: Second ODI (Mt Maunganui)

February 1: Third ODI (Hamilton)
