All to play for in the final ODI as Windies clinch a nail-biter on Wednesday by beating Bangladesh by 3 runs. Jason Holder bowled the last over in which 8 were needed and the over went for just 4. The skipper bowled some great line in the last over, also the wicket of Rahim on the first ball was the turning point of the game. You can expect fireworks in almost every game when the likes of Gayle, Lewis, Hope, Hetmyer are in the squad. The final ODI would be crucial for the batsmen as they have to score big to keep the opposition on the backfoot. Windies, being a settled batting side, are struggling to score in the initial overs. The likes of Gayle and Lewis are known to score at a decent pace but so far the fans haven’t seen the same. If Windies have to win the match, they need to score big at any cost. The 2nd ODI victory was just an inch away when Rahim was batting but he did a same mistake like 2016 World T20 game against India. In the end, the team once again lost the match. He must be unhappy with himself and would like to correct this mistake.

Best economical pick – Mashrafe Mortaza picked up 4 wickets in the first ODI which was a sigh of relief for himself and for the team as well. He is leading the side well once again and his contribution in the 3rd ODI would be crucial for Bangladesh. Can he perform with the new ball in the decider?

Top captains & vice captains – Shimron Hetmyer scored a match winning century in the second ODI and became the youngest Windies player to score an ODI century in West Indies at the age of 21 years and 211 days. Desmond Haynes was the previous youngest Windies player to score an ODI ton at home. Shimron Hetmyer is the first Windies player to score two centuries in ODI format before turning 22. Bangladeshi All Rounder Shakib al Hasan again scored another fifty in second ODI. Shakib missed his well-deserved century by just 3 runs in the first ODI, then scored 57 runs and picked up 2 wickets in the second ODI. Shakib Al Hasan now has scored a fifty and took multiple wickets on 21 instances in his ODI career.

Smart pick – Mushfiqur Rahim belted 30 off just 11 deliveries in the first ODI which made a significant difference to his side's innings in the final overs. And then scored 68 runs off just 67 balls in the second ODI, but failed to take Bangladesh over the line.

Cautious Pick – Sabbir Rahman who got out cheaply in the first ODI, played another careless shot in the second ODI which started their batting collapse and eventually Bangladesh lost the match by 3 runs.

My XI – Shimron Hetmyer (Captain) Shakib al Hasan (Vice-Captain) Tamim Iqbal, Jason Holder, Mashrafe Mortaza, Ashley Nurse, Mustafizur Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Chris Gayle, Mahmudullah, Shai Hope
