There has been widespread criticism of Mahendra Singh Dhoni after he failed to get going with the bat during the recently concluded limited overs leg of India's tour of England but he has found support from someone who has experienced it before.

Former India Captain, Sourav Ganguly is backing MS Dhoni to come back strongly and once again start scoring big runs for the team. Sourav also expressed that whatever decision MS Dhoni takes about his future in Indian Cricket, will be for the betterment of it.

"Dada" as he is fondly called, was quoted telling the reporters recently as, "I am sure he will get back to scoring runs. Whatever he does, it's his decision,"

Looking forward to the upcoming 5-match Test series on the tour, Sourav thinks India's batting across that long a series against a quality attack, that includes James Anderson and Stuart Broad, will be the key to their chances.

He said, "You have to score 400 runs in an innings in Test cricket in order to be competitive. If they get 400 runs in the first innings, they will win, India will have a chance. They are a good side, if they bat well, they will do well in England. They can win the test series. India have got a big chance of winning."

The Test series begins with the first game in Edgbaston starting on August 1.
