Former India skipper MS Dhoni isn't in good form currently. He is getting criticized heavily and like every time, talks of removing him from the team has been raised by the critics.

Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has been a constant supporter for Dhoni. Back in 2016, Shastri was serving Indian cricket team as director and when he was asked about the talks of sacking Dhoni on the famous show Aap Ki Adalat, he had questioned back those who pointed finger at the India cricket veteran.

Even last year, when India had defeated New Zealand by 2-1 in T20Is, Dhoni had failed to give satisfying output with the bat. Once again Shastri had to come in support of the wicket-keeper.

"Looks like there are a lot of jealous people around, who just want Dhoni to have a couple of bad days.... There are a few people who are waiting to see the end of MS Dhoni. But great players like him decide their own future," Shastri said. Calling Dhoni a team man he added, "It (the criticism) doesn't make a difference to me. In our mind, we know where Dhoni stands within the team. He is an ultimate team man. He was a great leader and now an ultimate team man."

India lost the ODI series against England recently and Dhoni was made the scapegoat for his slow innings in last two ODIs. On both the occasions, the 37-year-old failed to finish India's innings, for which he was known for once.

Here is the video of Shastri's interaction with famous journalist Rajat Sharma on India TV:
