The Malayali actress Raai Laxmi and Indian cricketer MS Dhoni used to be in a relationship at one point of time. Her name was linked with the former India skipper and that's when she came in the limelight.

However, the relationship which became a rage in 2008 didn't last long and the two parted ways soon. Raai had opened up about her relationship with Dhoni in an interview to Times of India.

She revealed that the memories have now become a scar for her. "I've begun to believe that my relationship with Dhoni is like a stain or a scar which won't go away for a long time. I am surprised that people still have the energy and patience left to talk about it even now," she said.

Laxmi also fears that someday her kids will ask about the relationship. She gets into the talk everytime media talks about Dhoni's past. "Every time TV channels dig into Dhoni's past, they make it a point to bring up our relationship. I dread to think that someday my kids in future will see it on TV and ask me about it," she had said.

The 31-year-old actress made it clear that there is no tiff between the two and they have moved on in their lives. "I knew him really well and don't know if I can call it a relationship because it never worked out. We still have respect for each other. 

"He has moved on and gotten married. That's the end of the story. I am a very happy person right now and work is my priority."
