BCCI goofs up with MS Dhoni’s profile on their website

MS Dhoni is probably the biggest cricketer to come out from a small town and made a name for himself in such a big way. Currently, in the twilight of his career, MS Dhoni has achieved almost every accolade possible in world cricket.

A World T20 win in 2007, a World Cup win in 2011 and a Champions trophy win in 2013, no.1 Test ranking for the Indian team, Asia Cup win, ODI tri-series win in Australia and many more such accolades adorn the former captain of India, MS Dhoni.

Dhoni led with gusto from 2007-2016. His last big tournament as captain was the World T20 2016, where he took India to the semi-finals. Dhoni had already retired from Test cricket during the Australia series in 2014-15 and gave up captaincy in 2016 when he knew the time was right for Virat Kohli to take over.

However, after almost two years after giving up captaincy, the BCCI still thinks that MS Dhoni is the captain and have put up the same on his official profile on their website BCCI.tv
