Left-hand batsman for Pakistan, Haris Sohail has pulled out of the ongoing One-day Internationals series against Zimbabwe for personal reasons. It was later revealed that Haris has told the Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) about the health concerns around his daughter. He was immediately granted the permission to fly back home and attend his family.

Sohail was a part of both the limited-overs side on the ongoing tour of Zimbabwe, but featured in only two T20I matches of the tri-series, one each against Zimbabwe and Australia, making 16 and 0 respectively. Sohail, who opened in the two T20Is he's played on the tour, hasn't featured in any of the two ODI games Pakistan have played in the series thus far.

The team management led by Captain Sarfraz Ahmed and head coach Mickey Arthur, haven't yet asked for a replacement in the squad.

Having won the T20I tri-series that also included Australia, Pakistan currently lead the 5-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, 2-0.
