Arjun Tendulkar picked up his first wicket for India U19 during the Youth Test against Sri Lanka U-19 at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo. The pacer dismissed Kamil Mishara and the moment got Vinod Kambli emotional.
Kamil was found plumb in front of the stumps and adjudged LBW by the umpire. After watching Arjun picking his maiden U19 international scalp, Sachin Tendulkar's childhood friend, former India cricketer Vinod Kambli wrote an emotional message on Twitter.
"Tears of joy rolled down when I saw this, have seen him grow up and put in the hard work in his game. Could not be more happy for you, Arjun. This is just the beginning, I wish you tons and ton of success in the days to come. Cherish your first wicket and enjoy the moment," Kambli's tweet read.

There was outrage on social media when Arjun was named in India's under-19 squad for the tour of Sri Lanka. The pacer was picked for the two four-day matches. However, he failed to make the cut for the five-match One-Day squad.
The cricketer was part of a group of U-19 cricketers who underwent a month-long camp in Dharamsala in April this year. Delhi's Anuj Rawat is captaining the Indian side in the four-day series, while UP's Aryan Juyal will lead the One-Day team.
