Former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis has hit out at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi for saying Pakistan has lack of cricketing talent.

The 70-year-old in an old interview with BBC Urdu had said, "Problem is Pakistani society, entire Pakistan is like that, no discipline,shortcut-ism,and lack of education".

Replying to Najam, Younis tweeted, "Think before you speak,  please stop blaming the nation being uneducated. They are better then loist of educated ones. There's plenty (sic) talent in Pakistan #Regard #Respect."

Back in 2013, former Pakistan skipper Imran Khan had also spoken about it. When Sethi claimed that there is a problem of talent in national cricket, Imran responded, "I accept this challenge from the PCB Chairman Najam Sethi and will now interfere and get involved with Pakistan cricket affairs once again and unearth new talent. Now I am compelled to say I will now get involved where necessary and I will find new talent for Pakistan cricket. To say there is no talent in our country is rubbish."
