Zafar, Ahmed and Cottrell lead Vancouver Knights to Canada T20 title

Saad Bin Zafar's exceptional performance and Fawad Ahmed brilliant bowling led  Vancouver Knights to win the maiden season of Global Canada T20 League after beating Cricket West Indies B team at  Maple Leaf North-West Ground, King City. 

Sheldon Cottrell grabbed four wickets and Fawad Ahmed picked three wickets to reduce Cricket West Indies B team to a total of 145 in the first innings of the final match.

Vancouver Knights did not have a great start, Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton were sent off at an early stage. They were reduced to 22 for 3 wickets after four overs. But Saad Bin Zafar and Rassie van der Dussen came up with a very strong partnership for the fourth wicket.

It was totally a team effort from Vancouver Knights as they did really well in both the departments against Cricket West Indies B in the final game of Global T20 league in Canada.

Zafar played an aggressive inning of 79 off 48 deliveries meanwhile his batting partner Dussen played a steady knock of 44 runs to lead their team to win its first ever tournament.
