Sachin Tendulkar was more than happy after MS Dhoni reached a landmark only few could achieve in ODI cricket. The former India skipper reached the 10,000 runs mark in ODI cricket against England at Lord's.

He became the fourth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid and 12th overall batsman to complete 10,000 runs in ODIs during the second match of the three-game series against England.

The wicket-keeper batsman has played mostly at nos. 5 and 6. Also, he is the only player to reach the milestone with an average north of 50.

Congratulating the Indian stalwart, former India cricketing hero wrote, "Fantastic achievement!! @msdhoni, congratulations on scoring 10,000 runs in ODIs! Well done, my friend." In the second ODI India lost, Dhoni played a knock of 59-ball 37.
