West Indies will look to complete a 2-0 series whitewash against Bangladesh when they take on The Tigers in the second Test at Jamaica. West Indies won the first Test by an innings and 219 runs. It was a comfortable win for West Indies with Kemar Roach bagging five wickets in the first innings to bowl out Bangladesh for 43. The Windies couldn’t complete a series win versus Sri Lanka and they will be keen to continue their domination on Shakib Al Hasan’s troops. The Tigers, on the contrary, have much to think about ahead of the last Test. Their batsmen couldn’t cope with the pace and venom of the Windies bowlers and will be in for another stern challenge in this match as well. West Indies are a strong team at home and Bangladesh are still struggling to find their groove in Test cricket.

Best economical pick – At a time when the fast-bowlers wreaked havoc, Devendra Bishoo bowled only five overs in which he couldn’t pick up any wicket. However, he did his job as the night-watchman and played out 79 balls after which Kamrul Islam dismissed him. In the second Test, it will be interesting to see how Jason Holder uses the leg-break bowler.

Top captains & vice captains – Shannon Gabriel has been in top form over the past few months and can be expected to again come out all guns blazing come the second Test. Gabriel has been Holder's go-to man in recent times and the big pacer has not disappointed whenever given the chance. The Bangladeshi Skipper Shakib al Hasan has a huge task in getting his players back on track after such a heavy defeat in the opening Test. For that to happen, he will have to lead from the front, something that he has done quite effectively with both bat and ball in the past.

Smart pick – Tamim Iqbal is someone who likes to set the tone with his unflinching approach to batting. In Antigua, he became the first Bangladeshi batsman to score 4000 runs and the visitors will want their gun batsman to step up and get a couple of big scores under his belt. A solid knock from the left-hander may just inject confidence into the rest of the batting lineup.

Cautious Pick – The West Indies are unlikely to make any alteration in their squad for the second test barring Kemar Roach, who pulled his hamstring after bowling five overs on the first day of the previous Test. Alzarri Joseph should replace him.

My XI – Shannon Gabriel (Captain), Shakib Al Hasan (Vice-Captain), Jason Holder, Mominul Haque, Tamim Iqbal, D Bishoo, Devon Smith, Kraigg Brathwaite, Nurul Hasan, Miguel Cummins, Kieran Powell
