The Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators(COA) to oversee the appliance of all the Lodha committee recommendations in the BCCI, has given its nod to the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to go ahead with the organization of annual Tamil Nadu Premier League but has also reiterated that no outstation players can play in the competition. 

The CoA informed the TNCA on Saturday, July 7, that the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) provisions do not permit outstation players to participate in leagues outside their home association's area of work. 

The CoA has also directed the concerned BCCI members to withdraw the No Objection Certificates (NOC) issued to players like Unmukt Chand, Hanuma Vihari who registered for the outstation players' draft. They also advised the registered players to comply with their home association.

In a mail sent to the TNCA, COA stated, "It is reiterated that in the event you fail to comply with the Advisory (including for the avoidance of doubt the provision which does not permit players registered with another State Association for the purpose of participating in BCCI tournaments from participating in your T20 tournaments), permission shall not be granted for the third edition of the TNPL and the same may be declared as an 'Unapproved Tournament', the consequences of which will be solely on account of your refusal to comply with the Advisory,"

"All Members are directed to withdraw any NOCs that they may have issued to players registered with them for participating in BCCI tournaments as well as advise all their registered players accordingly so that they are compliant with the above,"

TNCA's next step on the matter is awaited and it is expected that a decision will be taken in a Governing Council meeting on Monday, July 9.
