Shaheen Afridi wants to continue winning matches for Pakistan

Pakistan's left-arm pacer, Shaheen Afridi who played his second T20I match against Australia had a spectacular performance as he took three wickets to lead his team over Australia by 45 runs in the T20 tri-series. On his performance, Afridi added “This is by far the coldest day of cricket I’ve ever played," who had found his way in the team squad for tri-series tournament.

Shaheen Afridi had taken three wickets of Australia to restrict them from winning the match. He took the wickets of D Arcy Short, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell. “Since yesterday I’ve been planning on getting these two wickets and trying to work out how to get them out early,” said Afridi. On talking about his captain Sarfraz, the 18-year old cricketer added “He’s definitely happy with the bowling attack today,” said Afridi. “He’s the captain, and sometimes that happens when he’s unhappy, but today he was much happier with our performance.”

“I think they didn’t take advantage of the pitch,” said Afridi. “The ball was seaming around a lot, and that’s why we pitched it up.”

Shaheen Afridi also had a tremendous performance in PSL with best ever figures of the tournament belongs to his name. During the tournament, he was even hit for a six by Shahid Afridi.

Shaheen Afridi is a very young talented bowler for Pakistan cricket team and his bowling figures against Australia tells us that how much capable he is of clinching crucial wickets. He added “Shahid Afridi is a very big name, not just in our country but globally,” he said. “He hit me for six first ball in the PSL, but with the next one I got him out. I was very happy about that. After PSL, I don’t think any international match is tough for me. After that, I’m calm playing international cricket.”
