The Committee of Administrators (COA) has commanded Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) to extract the 16 outstation players who were all ready to take part in the third season of Tamil Nadu Premier League. They have also threatened to label the tournament as an "unapproved one" if players from other states take part in the competition.

Some players like Unmukt Chand and Hanuman Vihari were supposed to take part in the league but as COA has banned outstations player, they won't be taking part in the tournament.

As per rule 28 (b), "previous permission is required for conducting/ organising any tournament in which players from "region outside" the jurisdiction of the member (in this case TNCA) is likely to participate."

"If COA has right intentions then they would have stopped TNCA from holding the draft for outstation players. But their intention is to put TNCA in a spot of bother especially after today's favourable observations from Supreme Court," a senior BCCI official and N Srinivasan confidant told PTI today.

As BCCI is not understanding that players like Unmukt Chand and Hanuma Vihari who don't get many IPL contracts are being prevented to play and showcase their talent in the tournament.

The other state players picked at the time of draft: Sheldon Jackson, Salman Nizar (Kerala) - Tuti Patriots; Kedar Devdhar (Baroda), Shaurya Sanandia (Saurashtra) - Chepauk Super Gilles; Dharmendra Jadeja (Saurashtra), Sorab Dhaliwal (MP) - Kovai Kings; Amit Verma (Kar), Raiphy Vincent Gomez (Kerala) - Madurai Panthers; Himmat Singh (Delhi), Lukman Meriwala (Baroda) - Trichy Warriors; Swapnil Singh (Baroda), Sandeep Warrier (Kerala) - Kanchi Warriors; Arpit Vasavada (Saurashtra), G Hanuma Vihari (AP) - Dindigul Dragons; Atit Sheth (Baroda), Unmukt Chand (Delhi) - Karaikudi Kaalai
