Pakistan cricket team clears Yo-Yo test ahead of Zimbabwe T20Is

All the Pakistan players have cleared their fitness test.

All nineteen cricketers of Pakistan selected in the two squads for the T20I triangular series in Zimbabwe and ODI series next month have cleared the infamous Yo-Yo test with a standard set at 17.4. Pakistan's leg-spinner Yasir Shah who failed his previous fitness test is all set to join the team for ODIs next month. 

Under Mickey Arthur, Pakistan cricket team were expected to clear off the strict benchmarks set by the coach. All the nineteen members of the squad have cleared their fitness test. 

When talking after the completion of Pakistan's fitness test, head coach Mickey Arthur said “I’m very pleased with the results of the fitness tests. “We have tried to set a benchmark and develop a fitness culture in recent months, our efforts have paid off and I’m delighted how the players have taken to the culture.”

“I would also like to thank team trainer Grant Luden and the coaches and trainers at NCA for ensuring that the players remain steadfast and follow the routines prescribed to them.” Mickey Arthur concluded.

Pakistan T20I Triangular Series squad:
Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Talat, Sarfraz Ahmad (Captain – WK), Harris Sohail, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem AshrafHassan Ali, Mohammad Amir, Usman Khan Shinwari, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sahibzada Farhan.

Pakistan ODI squad for next month:
Fakhar Zaman, Imam ul Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam (Subject to Fitness), Asif Ali, Sarfraz Ahmed (Captain – WK), Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Amir, Junaid Khan, Usman Khan Shinwari, Yasir Shah, Hassan Ali, Harris Sohail.
