England needed a Jos Buttler heroic to seal the series 5-0 against Australia. They beat Australia by just one wicket in a thrilling encounter. Buttler was the lone warrior who fought throughout the chase and won it for his team.

The 27-year-old scored 110* and excluding him, no one from his side could cross 20-run mark. Coming in at 27 with 4 down in a chase of 206 runs, Buttler didn't give up. He found a partner after England lost 8 wickets 114. He and the tailender Adil Rashid stretched their partnership to 195, and that is where Rashid had to walk back leaving the team with 11 more to get.

It was a tense situation with just one wicket in hand, but Jake Ball did well to survive 10 balls before Buttler could swing his willow to whitewash the Aussies.

After the win, Buttler admitted he followed the footsteps of MS Dhoni to take his side home. "When you’re out there at least you can do something about it. I was just trying to soak up the pressure and imagine what MS Dhoni would do," he said.
