Former Australian cricketer, Adam Gilchrist has recently rated Sarah Taylor of England women's cricket team as the best wicket-keeper in the world. While playing against South Africa, Taylor pulled off a sensational stumping to send Sune Luus back to the pavilion.

Responding to a question in a Test Match Special interview Adam Gilchrist termed Sarah Taylor as Best in the World. He was in all praise of Sarah Taylor as her work from behind stumps is recommendable. Over the years, Sarah Taylor has created her portfolio of superb leg-side stumping alongside other great work from behind the stumps.

"I tweeted, no longer than a week ago, that she is the best wicketkeeper in the world at the moment - male or female," Gilchrist said. "She's done some work over the years in the Big Bash in Australia and with social media now you can see these little snippets."

Reacting to this praise by Gilchrist Taylor said "I had absolutely no idea about that! I've been working so hard on my keeping. [Former Hampshire wicketkeeper] Michael Bates has been brilliant for me in terms of everything he's done for my keeping. I'll take that - it's absolutely ridiculous - but I'll take it".

After England eves put up a magical performance against South Africa women in the recently contested match, Taylor further stated that international women cricketers have improved on their fitness to survive themselves in the different formats of the game.

"We're fitter and stronger than we've ever been," she told BBC Sport on Friday (June 23). "It will be tough - the Kiwis are obviously strong opposition. We just have to try to look at it like a 40-over game each side."
