Dean Jones delightful after Sahibzada Farhan's inclusion in the Pakistan national squad

Sahibzada Farhan was a part of Islamabad United in the latest edition of PSL.

Former Australian cricketer, Dean Jones has come out in support of Sahibzada Farhan, after the player was picked in the national squad of Pakistan for a triangular series against Zimbabwe and Australia in the month of July.

Farhan who was a part of Islamabad United in the last PSL season got an opportunity to be in the national squad of Pakistan for the triangular series in the next month. Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board named a 16-man squad for the T20 series including Sahibzada Farhan.

Although he did not get a chance to play for Islamabad United, he shared the dressing room with the likes of Misbah-ul-Haq, JP Duminy, and Luke Ronchi. Earlier Farhan had represented Punjab in the Pakistan Cup where he scored 263 runs at an average of 65.7.

Meanwhile, Islamabad United franchise was pleased to see Farhan's inclusion in the squad of Pakistan for the T20 triangular series, they posted a delightful message on their Twitter handle for the young cricketer, they wrote -“Another #ISLU player makes the Pakistan squad. @SahibzadaFarha4, we’re proud of you larkay! #PlayLikeASheru #UnitedWeWin”

Dean Jones, the coach of Islamabad United thereafter congratulated the effort of young Sahibzada Farhan after getting picked in the team. On his Twitter account, he wrote - “So proud of the boys! Winning Championships is fun… but when young men get selected for their Country.. this is the ultimate”
