India’s FTP schedule sees them playing an astonishing 203 matches between 2019 and 2023

The most popular and viable cricket team in the world – India, is set to play the maximum number of matches- 203 across all the three formats in the next Futures Tours and Program Cycle of 2019-2023.

India will be playing 51 Tests, 83 ODIs and 69 T20Is during this period, more than any other teams. West Indies with 186 matches and England with 175 matches are next to India in the list.

India’s 53 Tests in this period is second only to England’s 59 and four more than Australia. In ODIs and T20s, India is playing more games with West Indies playing 75 ODIs and 68 T20Is respectively.

"While FTP is now a bi-partite agreement but ICC also pitched in with their inputs while setting up the calendar. All those who thought that BCCI will ignore Test cricket should be relieved that we are playing more than 50 Tests in next five years," a senior BCCI official told PTI.

The 2018-19 season will have 54 games followed by 41, 33, 40 and 35 matches in the next four seasons.
