The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed on Thursday (21 June) that Virat Kohli and his brigade will fly for Ireland on 23 June (Saturday), which will mark the beginning of Team India's full-fledged and grueling schedule against Ireland and England.

In a press release, the BCCI has confirmed that Indian team will depart for Ireland four days prior to the start of the two-match T20 International series to be played on June 27 and June 29 respectively at The Village in Dublin.

Following the T20Is in Ireland, the Men in Blue will directly travel to England for a full-fledged series comprising with three T20Is, three One Day Internationals and five Tests in July.

Kohli and his team’s UK journey will get underway with T20Is with the first to be played on 3 July at Old Trafford in Manchester followed by second and the final on 6 and 8 July at Cardiff and Bristol respectively. Then, they will engage in three ODIs, starting from 12 July at Nottingham followed by second and final on 14 and 17 July at the Lord's and Headingley respectively.
