England are in outstanding ODI form. The home team is dominating the ongoing ODI series against Australia, as they currently lead the 5-match vigil by 4-0 with one game to go and are most likely to inflict a whitewash versus an inexperienced opponent bereft of their matchwinners and confidence. Eoin Morgan, the three lion's Captain is delighted with the whole situation.

Morgan is delighted because he has beaten Australia without having to play Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes. Two players who have been an important part of the side with their all-round ability, since the last World Cup. The duo are recovering from injuries and Morgan says it shows the depth and health of the side that they can win without them. He believes, England has a plethora of excellent white ball players to choose from and he has a problem of plenty when it comes to selecting an eleven.

After the fourth ODI, Morgan said, “It’s not a problem at the moment because we don’t have to choose, but down the line, it’s going to make for a tough decision, It’s not something I’m looking forward to making, but I’m pleased we’re spoiled for guys in such good form at the moment. I’ve been in teams before where there have been guys that can’t get a run, so it’s a very privileged position for us to be in at the moment.”

England are now looking for 5-0 and Morgan made it absolutely clear.

He said, “A 5-0 doesn’t really make a lot of difference. It’s just another opportunity to put in another really strong performance. We’ll have to adapt to some different conditions over in Manchester and we have to keep this momentum going.”
