Mahela Jayawardene to lead MCC in a T20 triangular series involving Nepal and Netherlands

 Former Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene will be leading Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in a T20 triangular series with Nepal and Netherlands. The tournament will take place next month at the Lord's Cricket Stadium.

The tournament will kick start from 29th July, where MCC will be playing against Nepal and Netherlands. 

Mahela Jayawardene who is considered to be Sri Lanka's finest cricketers has been appointed as the captain to lead Marylebone Cricket Club against Nepal and Netherlands for the T20 tournament.

Mahela Jayawardene has played almost 600 International matches for Sri Lanka with hammering 23,000 runs in Tests and ODIs. He has even featured in 55 T20 matches for the team, scoring 1493 runs.

Dylan Budge, Alasdair Evans and Mark Watt have been also included in the MCC squad for the T20 tournament. All the three players selected in the squad were a part of Scotland's historic win over England by six runs.

MCC will be announcing the entire squad very soon in the coming weeks. The tournament will be really interesting how Jayawardene will lead Marylebone Cricket Club against the other two sides.
