Sakshi Dhoni, Indian cricketer MS Dhoni's wife thinks her life is under threat and has applied for an arms license, as per the reports of Zee media.

Sakshi has applied to procure either a pistol or a .32 Revolver. We have seen Sakshi traveling around alone for private work, and she stated the same reason in order to get a license for a gun.

Her husband MS Dhoni was given an approval for a 9mm pistol back in 2010. He already has a license for weapons of a non-prohibited bore and had applied for prohibited bore license in August 2008 as he wanted to purchase a 9 mm pistol.

This license was issued by the central home ministry at the recommendation of the state government.

The former India skipper was asked for a character certificate which had made his fans furious. A group of fans had demonstrated at the Elbert Ekka Chowk, Ranchi demanding immediate issuance of the license to the cricketer. His request for a 9 mm was turned down earlier.

The Indian cricketer loves shooting and he was once seen taking out time from cricket for spending time at a shooting range in Kolkata.
