It was a dreadful day for Australian bowlers after they conceded the highest ODI team total ever. England hammered 481 runs in 50 overs to make things worse for the visitors as they take a 3-0 lead in the 5-match ODI series against their Ashes rivals.

Right from Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow, each and every batsman batted beautifully to take their team total to 481. Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales had put England in command after hitting centuries for their team and even captain Eoin Morgan came to the party to smash England's fastest ODI half-century in just 21 deliveries.

On the other hand, Australia has once again lost the bilateral series against England. From the start of the series, they have not manage to win a single match against them. Recently, Australia has slipped to the sixth position in the ODI rankings after losing continuously in the ODI games.

Many former cricketers hailed England's batting effort, from Shoaib Akhtar, Dale Steyn to Harbhajan Singh tweeted to congratulate England cricket team after creating history.

Meanwhile, Adam Gilchrist stole the all the limelight after stealing a quote from Jacques Kallis to come up with a cheeky tweet. The former wicket-keeper on his Twitter handle wrote-   “To steal a quote from the great @jacqueskallis75 …”About 10 runs short I reckon” #ENGAUS”
