Bangladesh's fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out of their upcoming Test series against West Indies after the pace bowler failed to recover from the injury. The left-arm fast bowler has played 10 Test matches for Bangladesh and has taken 26 wickets for his nation.

Bangladesh's prime bowler had hurt his left toe while playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL last month. Earlier it was doubtful that Mustafizur Rahman will be considered for the Test squad but now as his fitness reports are out it is clear that he won't be taking further part in upcoming clash against West Indies.

Mustafizur was yet to regain his fitness from the injury which also forced him to miss the recent three-match Twenty20 series against Afghanistan, chief selector Minhajul Abedin said Monday.

"Barring a miracle he is unlikely to be fit before the second Test, so we left him out from the squad," Abedin said.

The first Test between West Indies and Bangladesh is all set to take place on July 4 with the last match to be played in Jamaica on July 12.

Bangladesh's Test skipper, Shakib Al Hasan will be making his return back to the Test team after he missed out against Sri Lanka due to his injury. The visitors have several changes in their squad ahead of their Test matches against West Indies.

Here is Bangladesh's Test squad:

Shakib Al Hasan (Capt.), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Liton Das, Mominul Haque, Mehidy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Kamrul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Abu Jayed, Nazmul Hossain and Shafiul Islam.
