Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were criticised all over the social media recently for posting a video of a man allegedly throwing trash on the road two days ago.
Virat Kohli posted this video in which Anushka, his wife and famous Bollywood actress, was seen scolding a man from her car for throwing waste on the road rather than a dustbin. The noble thought has got them nothing but flak.
Virat posted this video on Twitter with a caption, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains have gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same and spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma."

The couple has now, very importantly, found support from the Minister of state for home affairs Kiren Rijiju, who took the Twitter and posted, "C'mon, Virat & Anushka need publicity!! They would rather crave for privacy!! Our conduct reflects our mentality. Civic sense is social ethics and ethical behaviour doesn't come with wealth & education. Let's keep India clean. #SwachhBharat"
