BCCI pay due salaries to Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid

Alongside the coaches, all dues against Barinder Sran were also cleared.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recently paid the salaries to India's head coach, Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid who is the head coach of India-A and U-19. BCCI has given Ravi Shastri a huge amount of Rs 1,89,37,500 for the period of three months from April 18 to July 17. According to the numbers, we can say that Ravi Shastri is the highest paid coaches in world cricket. After looking at the numbers, it is understood that Ravi Shastri draws a monthly salary of 63 Lakhs.

On the other hand, India's- A head coach Rahul Dravid has got an estimated amount of Rs 40,50,000 as his professional fee for the month of March 2018. Meanwhile, BCCI pays Rs 4,86,00,000 to Rahul Dravid annually.

Ravi Shastri succeeded Anil Kumble as the head coach of Indian cricket team after India lost Pakistan in the finals of Champions Trophy last year. BCCI had also invited other applicants for the post which drew the interest of many other players like Virender Sehwag and Tom Moody for the post of India's head coach.

In case of Rahul Dravid, his contract was renewed for the period of two years. His tenure as India's head coach might get extended after India U-19 cricket team won the World Cup U-19 earlier this year.

Besides Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid, BCCI has also cleared all dues against Barinder Sran that was estimated to be Rs 40,07,135. The pacer is now been discarded by the BCCI as per the new contracts.
