Ravindra Jadeja to spend quality time with his "babies" before England series

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was exceptional during the recently concluded historic one-off Test against Afghanistan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Jadeja was one of the key players who played a crucial role in India’s massive an innings and 262-run win over the Test debutants – Afghanistan on Sunday (15 June).

Jadeja picked up a tally of 6-wickets, as well as, contributed 20 runs in India’s massive 474 runs innings in Bangalore to prove his worth in the Test side once again before India’s next England tour. During his knock, he added an important partnership with Hardik Pandya (71) of 67 runs to help India cross the 450 run mark as India finished on 474 in their first innings. 

Following the Afghanistan Test, India is set to visit Ireland for two T20 Internationals later this month before heading to England for a full series. Jadeja before the Test series in England will be spending some quality time with his babies as he is not a part of the Indian squad for the Ireland T20Is and England ODI and T20I series. 

Meanwhile, Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) are yet to announce squad for five-Tests in England to be played from August, the all-rounder will have a break of almost one and half months and he recently revealed how he will spend this break on social media.

Following the Bangalore Test, the 29-year-old, who belongs to a Rajput-family from Saurashtra, went on his Instagram account to reveal his plan, “Finally, I will spend some time with my babies #cominghome#horseforever #rajputboy”

Noteworthy, Jadeja has not featured in India’s both ODI and T20I squad since the West Indies series in July last year.
