Three big Indian cricketers clear the yo-yo fitness Test ahead of the England tour

Team India is scheduled to tour England in July-August for three ODIs, three T20Is and five Test matches. It will be a big tour for the Indian team, as they will be looking forward to correcting the last time’s debacle when India lost 1-3 in five Tests.

BCCI had named the team for the limited overs tour and all the players were asked to report to the NCA in Bengaluru for the mandatory fitness test. All the players of the squad underwent the yo-yo fitness test on Friday at the B ground of the Chinnaswamy Stadium premises as the Test team continued to dominate the opposition.

While the likes of MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ambati Rayudu and Manish Pandey among others appeared for the yo-yo tests; all the eyes were on the fitness of Virat Kohli, who will captain India on the tour to England. The results will be officially announced soon.

Three players in Suresh Raina, Jasprit Bumrah and Siddarth Kaul reportedly cleared the yo-yo test will flying colors. Kaul posted a photo with Raina and Bumrah with the caption “excited Mein Aidaaa Cleared the Yo-Yo Test. Can’t wait to share the dressing room with these fine gentlemen ???? #FitnessTest @ImRaina @Jaspritbumrah93.

India will face Ireland in the two-match T20 international series commencing on June 27. Then England will challenge the Men in Blue in the shortest format in three matches starting from July 3. While Kaul and Bumrah are part of the T20I and ODI squad, Suresh Raina is part of the T20I squad only.
