David Warner who is still serving his 12-month ban from international cricket due to his infamous involvement in the ball tampering scandal in South Africa has scored a strokeful ton on his cricket return against the Australia National High Performance squad in a practice T20 match at Brisbane’s Allan Border Oval on Thursday.

Warner scored 130 and his knock was designed by as many as 18 sixes as said by one of the spectators who enjoyed this knock by Warner. 

‘I think he hit like 18 sixes... at least half a dozen went over the grandstand. ‘It looked like he had left the scandal behind and moved on... like he didn’t have a care in the world,” the spectator was quoted as saying by Mail Online.

Warner as per reports also had a chat with the opposition bowlers and shared anecdotes on the game. Warner who is out of international  cricket will be playing in the Global T20 tournament in Canada. His Aussie teammate Steve Smith will also be a part of the tournament. Warner will be playing for Winnipeg Hawks as Smith will play his trade for Toronto Nationals. 

Both these players also missed the bygone IPL season with the BCCI ruling out their participation for the involvement in the controversy which tainted the image of Australian cricket in recent times.
