Jharkhand batsman-keeper Ishan Kishan, who dazzled the cricket fans with his scintillating strokeplay in IPL 2018 for MI, has been named as Sanju Samson’s replacement in the India ‘A’ squad for England tour.
Kishan had a reasonable IPL 2018 campaign for Mumbai Indians, scoring 275 runs from 12 innings.
Samson was ruled out of the 16-men India ‘A’ squad on Sunday (June 10) after he failed to clear the Yo-Yo endurance Test. As per a report published in the Mumbai Mirror on Monday (June 11), Samson's score in the Yo-Yo test was way short of the prescribed 16.1 benchmark.
