Uncapped Indian seamer Harshal Patel, who represents Gujarat in the First-Class cricket, is eyeing to give his best in the upcoming domestic season, in order to move up to the India A hopefuls and earning a Team India call, after his exploits in IPL 2018 with Delhi Daredevils (DD).

However, the 27-year-old is not a renowned name in the Indian Cricket, but has the experience of rubbing shoulders with the likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Chris Gayle during Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) journey between 2012 and 2017.

The right-hander, who was a part of India U19 side in 2010, is confident that he will definitely get India call up very soon, saying he only needs a string of brilliant performances in the domestic circuit, something he is looking to do.

In an exclusive interview by CricXtasy, Patel said, “I am obviously eyeing to play for India A, as it is just a step away from international cricket. I am confident that the time will come and I am not away from playing at the highest level. I am putting the hard work in the right direction and the results would follow. I am pretty positive and confident about it.”

Harshal signed off by saying, “Once IPL finishes, everything is done and you enter a completely new set-up of first-class cricket, so am looking to perform well and get noticed.”
