England's ODI captain, Eoin Morgan feels England can bounce back stronger after their shocking defeat against Scotland in the one-off ODI game and can put up a good show against Australia in their upcoming five-match ODI series starting from June 13.

Morgan feels they can learn certain things from Scotland loss to beat Australia.

The top team in ODI rankings only have few days left to recover from their stunning loss against Scotland. They lost against Scotland by 6 runs in the only ODI match at Edinburgh. With the help of Calum Macleod's spectacular unbeaten 140, Scotland posted their highest ever score against England of 371.

Jonny Bairstow's splendid century and England's eighth-wicket partnership between Moeen Ali and Liam Plunkett tried to take the match away from the hosts but unfortunately, fell short by 6 runs and England folded for 365 runs.

But having seen England beat Australia 4-1 earlier this year, Morgan is confident enough that Englands' loss over Scotland will not change their moralode."A one-off game like this, to bring your best game is very difficult to do, they played well and deserved the result," said Eoin Morgan.

"It's not the end of the world for us, it was a really good run out and good to have a practice coming into the series against Australia. The level of expectation has been high around the team for a while, it doesn't get higher than being number one in the world. I don't think we were far away, we go to a ground now that we know really well in The Oval, and we'll be up for the challenge."

Eoin Morgan also talked about his experience against Scotland.

"We were miles off where we expect to be and didn't do enough to win," he said.
"The way we played, we didn't deserve to win it. We might have scraped past them and won, but there were still quite a few mistakes made that we need to rectify and learn from ahead of the Australia series.

"We didn't do enough towin, if we had won it would have been a bonus from where we were," said Morgan after the loss against Scotland.

It was a historic win for Scotland as they beat England for the first time in cricket history. The way their batsmen batted was outstanding. They were earlier denied a place at the next year's World Cup, after losing to Windies by 5 runs by D/L method.
