Justin Langer, the Australian head coach has come out and stated that the fast bowler Michael Neser could make his debut in the first ODI of the upcoming one day series against England.

Australia will be without some of their mainstay matchwinning fast bowlers, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, but the camp under Justin Langer is unperturbed and backs the likes of Kane Richardson, Jhye Richardson, Billy Stanlake and Andrew Tye to come good for the team in the crucial series. Langer is impressed by the young fast bowling group but he praised Michel Neser and said, "The other one I am really impressed with is Michael Neser, He reminds me a bit of Andy Bichel and Michael Kasprowicz. They're just great people in the team, always smiling, and they just compete"

"My (daughters) love the BBL and they don't like too many people in the opposition (of the Scorchers), but they like Michael Neser because he smiles all the time. He's a really good person to have in the team, good competitor and could easily play in the first game."

Langer further added, "I've always seen having that extra bowling option work well in domestic cricket, particularly if your seven and eight can bat a bit, We've seen that with Ashton Agar and Michael Neser, they can bat a bit. I think Jhye Richardson has got some talent as well with the bat"

"That's why England have been so successful … their batting depth all the way down. I think having that depth is important. I'll guarantee you now I am not going to sleep for the next two nights working out what the best XI is going to be for the first game."
