Insult to the injury for Bangladesh cricket as two of their players were found squabbling over a misunderstanding. As per reports, before the third T20I against Afghanistan, Sabbir Rahman was dropped from the final game following an altercation with his teammate Mehidy Hasan.

It is said that the right-handed batsman was involved in a verbal and physical spat with the all-rounder Mehidy. "It was not that big an issue, just a misunderstanding. The incident is not even mentioned in manager's report," an official told Cricbuzz.

It is not new for Rahman. The cricketer had once beaten up a fan during a domestic match. The fan was taunting him from outside the field of play during a first-class match and an angry Sabbir then walked off the ground, after reportedly taking permission from the umpire. But instead of going to the dressing room, the cricketer allegedly beat up the fan.

Bangladesh batsman was slapped with a fine of over Rs 15 lakh and banned from domestic cricket for six months.

Talking about the series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh played in Dehradun, India, the 'Tigers' couldn't hunt down the Afghanis and faced a 3-0 whitewash in T20I series.
