David Warner will be making his return to cricket in the Global T20 Canada league. Warner is preparing to get back on the field with this tournament, which is scheduled to start later this month. David Warner, Steve Smith were handed one-year suspension with Cameron Bancroft getting banned for nine months due to their involvement in the ball-tampering saga that took place in Cape Town earlier this year.

Their absence in Australia's dugout will definitely hamper the top order of Australia. However, it gives the rest of the players an opportunity to prove themselves at the top of the order.

"Great to be back at it, working on fly speed transition. Tough session but managed to keep it together," Warner posted on Instagram along with the video.

Warner will be representing Winnipeg Hawks for the first edition of Global T20 tournament. David will be accompanying Steven Smith who will play for Toronto Nationals as one of the marquee players in the tournament.

Besides these players, cricketers from the different nation will also be taking part in the tournament. Such as Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, Sri Lanka fast bowler Lasith Malinga, West Indies players Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Darren Sammy and Dwayne Bravo will also get to play in this tournament.

After the Canadian T20 league, David Warner will be featuring with Cameron Bancroft in Darwin's limited-overs Strike League where Warner will only play two matches on July 21-22.
