India's former captain, Sourav Ganguly says he will be supporting his favorite team Brazil but at the same team wants Lionel Messi to win FIFA World Cup for Argentina this year. The  2018 FIFA World Cup starts on June 14 at Russia.

"I am looking forward to Messi magic. He's yet to win a World Cup. It's going to be a big World Cup for him," said Sourav Ganguly, the owner of Athletico De Kolkata in the ISL.

Sourav Ganguly thinks Brazil, Argentina and Germany will be teams to look out for in Russia 2018.

"Brazil is my favourite team but I am a Messi fan," he conceded with a smile.

Sourav Ganguly also talked about Arjun Tendulkar, who has been selected to represent India in the U-19 side that will be competing against Sri Lanka in the month. He added, "Lots of wishes to him. I have never seen him play. I hope he does well,".

Sourav Ganguly further talked about Virat Kohli and India's tour to England this summer. He feels India undoubtedly will be the favorite team among the two sides playing in England.

"I'm very hopeful that India will win in England. The way they have played the ODI series in South Africa, if they are able to hold back the momentum, they will absolutely win."

India is going to play three T20Is, three ODIs and Five Test with India's tour-ending on September 11.

England recently lost against Pakistan by nine wickets in the first test, levelling the Test series 1-1.

"India are a far better side than Pakistan. India will have better chances of winning the series," former Indian captain said.
