Afghanistan's young leg-spinning prodigy Rashid Khan has been making the batsmen world over dance to his tunes in recent times. He has a variety of deliveries to bamboozle batsmen who are still unable to pick him both off the hand or off the wicket.
Recently, Scotland skipper Kyle Coetzer has came up with a name wherein he has named the player who can play the mystery spinner in the best possible way.
Kyle Coetzer, in his tweet, cited that the best way to tackle a spinner who has a very good wrong ‘un is by playing sweep against him. He reckons any player with a good sweep shot can succeed against someone like Rashid. To cite an example, he named Scotland cricketer Calum MacLeod as one such player. MacLeod had scored a brilliant 157 in a World Cup Qualifier game against Afghanistan earlier this year. He expressed his disappointment over the fact that the franchises are not picking up players like MacLeod in their sides.
Against an attack of mystery/wrist spinners who bowl wrong-uns as well (well, better) as their leggie - not to mention Mujeeb’s offie - this strategy would seem to be somewhat misguided. Perhaps, rather, send in batters who can sweep effectively like @calummacleod640 did in #CWCQ

@calummacleod640 scored 150 against this attack hitting Rashid at 8 an over (on a spin friendly wicket). Pretty much the only person in world cricket 2 do this to date. Few better sweepers of the ball in the world. Madness that franchises/teams don’t sign him up @CricketScotland

However, much to his surprise, fans failed to understand what Coetzer has tried to say through his tweet, rather started criticising him. The Scotland skipper later clarified as to what he exactly did he mean with another tweet to conclude his argument.
Ahahaha!!!

In that match Rashid was a captain and mmmm captaincy has some pressure.
Afghanistan is Mujeeb hit Rashid 2 back to back 4 in the ipl match so we can't say Mujeeb is a class batsman.
Sometimes Low team can beat Top team like you did in WCQ but at the end we are in.
There is slight difference back to back 4’s by Mujeeb compared to a 150 not out. A 150 is not luck!!! I’m afraid you have no argument here @arifdost16. Captaincy Pressure is an overrated excuse, did @calummacleod640 not have pressure facing the #1 ranked bowler in the world??

Speaking off Rashid, he took 8 wickets to help Afghanistan whitewash Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series held in Dehradun.
