IND vs AFG 2018: Afghan skipper Asghar Stanikzai warns India ahead of historic Test

Afghanistan led by Asghar Stanikzai whitewashed Bangladesh in a 3 match T20I series with Rashid Khan winning the Man of the Series awards for picking up 8 wickets in the series. Afghanistan's captain Asghar Stanikzai has warned the Indian cricket team ahead of the one-off Test to be played in Bengaluru. 

Afghanistan is all set to play their maiden Test against the top Test team. The captain Stanikzai believes after beating Bangladesh in the T20s, the team has enough confidence to fight against India. The team has a boosted morale that can surely make things easy for the visitors.

"Great preparation for the Test match against India - the morale is high," the skipper said after his side pipped Bangladesh by one run in the third and final T20I here on Thursday.

"Last couple of years we have performed well. We want to achieve it for Afghanistan. You see the batsmen, bowlers are all in good form."

Rashid Khan, the player of the recently concluded series has been in a tremendous form and was definitely the reason behind Afghanistan's win against Bangladesh. He grabbed 8 wickets in the tournament to get himself the award.

"Full credit to my fitness - if you're fit, you can deliver in any department; it doesn't matter whether I'm playing in league cricket or the national team, I just want to enjoy," he said.
