The rise of Afghanistan has been such a heartwarming story and it is, more pertinently, reaching greater heights by the day. On Thursday, the admirable story had another high to talk about, as they clean swept Bangladesh in 3 match T20 International series in Dehradun. 

Having beaten their subcontinent rivals in the first two games by a margin of 45 runs and by chasing down the target with six wickets in hand in the second game, the third could've been a procession to go through for any other team but Afghanistan plays their cricket like they have a point to prove every day. 

Afghanistan batted first in this one and put up a fighting score of 145/6 on the board. They were about 20 short of a winning total but knew they have the bowling for the task. This is where the increasingly threatening trio of Mujeeb Zadran, Rashid Khan and Mohammed Nabi came to the fore, as they took the game to a stage where Bangladesh needed 9 from the last over. The enormous got excelled, as Rashid Khan weaved his magic and gave his country a 1 run win. 

It had Twitter in splits as appreciation came pouring in from all corners of the cricket loving world.
