Legendary South African pacer Dale Steyn is considering to make a comeback to the International cricket once again. He might come and play for South Africa on the tour of Sri Lanka starting on July 12. Dale Steyn will be representing Hampshire for this summer. South Africa will be going through a busy schedule this season and services of Dale Steyn can prove to be useful for his team.

Due to several injuries, the 34-year-old South African bowler has been in and out of form and team as well. Recently the South Africa board has announced several fixtures of the team for 2018-2019 season. During India's tour of South Africa, all eyes were on the speedster but unfortunately, he ended up injuring his heel to be ruled out of the series. 

His injury let himself out of the series and Duanne Olivier replaced the injured fast bowler since then he has been out of the team. Now Dale Steyn is ready to play for Hampshire this season.

In his recent interviews, he mentioned how beautifully the ball is coming out and how are the preparations are going to have a comeback to the national squad. South Africa will again take the field in Sri Lanka against Sri Lanka to play 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20 international match. Moreover, Kagiso Rabada will also be eyeing to make a comeback in the national team.

“The ball is coming out sweetly. I needed to get back on the park and play a bit of cricket. South Africa tour Sri Lanka in July so I felt that June was a great time to come and play some cricket,” Dale Steyn stated.
