India’s Vice-captain in Test cricket, Ajinkya Rahane is celebrating his 30th birthday on Thursday (6 June) and wishes poured in for him from cricketers to fans. His wife Radhika’s heartwarming wish would have certainly made his special day even more special.
On her husband’s special day, Mrs. Rahane went on the social media to wish him in a very sweet way, sharing a picture of Ajinkya and saying she just wants the best for him with a very cute emoticon.
She wrote on her Instagram, “Happy happy birthday handsome ????Here’s to the 3rd decade of your life ????????????????????I wish nothing but the best for you ????”
Radhika and Ajinkya were childhood friends and then both of them decided to get married in 2014.
On cricketing front, the big responsibility awaits the middle-order batsman, as Rahane is all set to lead the Indian Team in the historic one-off Test against Afghanistan starting from 14 June Bangalore.
Meanwhile, Ajinkya will be missing the limited overs series in Ireland and England because of his struggle with the White-ball, though he has proved his mettle in the Test cricket but has not reached the same heights in the shortest format of the game, will play only Tests in England.
Rahane has played 90 ODI matches and averaged only 35.26, as well as, his strike rate is only 78.63, which is lesser than the top players’ batting averages in the national team.
