Rashid Khan thanks Dehradun crowd after Bangladesh series win

The Afghanistan talisman won his country the series over Bangladesh yesterday.

Rashid Khan, who was awarded Man of the Match in the T20 international against Bangladesh for his match-winning spell of 4-0-4-12 on Tuesday has come out and appreciated the crowd support he has been enjoying over the last few months in India and he praised the people that came in large numbers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Ground in Dehradun. 

Rashid has actually helped his country win the series against the subcontinent rivals, by following his brilliant spell in the first game, when he picked 3 wickets for just 13 runs in 3 overs, with this one. Becoming the likely candidate to be awarded the Man of the Series too, at the end of the third match. 

Rashid Khan has been getting congratulatory messages from all over the world for his immense skill set and his performances. He recently played in the Indian Premier League for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and picked 21 wickets at an excellent economy rate, helping the franchise reach the final in the process. 

He is currently the most lethal spinner in world cricket, with him being the top-ranked T20 international bowler and has been highly successful in the 50 overs format too. Rashid has become the most attractive player for the T20 teams across leagues around the world too. 

Rashid is extremely pleased to have won his country their maiden series victory over a full member other than Zimbabwe and Ireland.
