The former Carribean all-time legend Viv Richards feels like India has picked aggression from Kapil Dev's era and he even termed Virat Kohli as an exciting player of all time.

India's captain Virat Kohli is going through a substantial time in his cricket career these days. After leading Royal Challengers Bangalore to a downhearted sixth- place position in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League. Kohli's period with English County team Surrey was removed as he had suffered a neck sprain.

Before the start of India's tour to England, Kohli had to get familiar with English pitch conditions but now due to his issue with the neck, he won't be taking part in the County matches.

“What I know for sure is that he (Kohli) is an exciting player, and I remember in the past, the Indian team used to be very fragile in terms of when the sledging factor came into play, there were some fragileness attached to Indian teams,” Viv Richards was quoted as saying by News18.

The 66-year-old cricketer also urged that Kapil Dev had established a competitive broadway for Indian Cricket team.

“Kapil Dev created the avenue for India that you must be competitive” he computed.

The former Carribean legend cricketer also counted that the Indian cricketers have grown stronger than before.

“The Indian players have become quite resilient. They do not back down quite easily these days,” he stated.
