The argument between Stuart Broad and Michael Vaughan seems to be continuing as Broad has stood by his decision to stand by his decision to reply to Michael Vaughan's recent criticism after England's unfortunate defeat against Pakistan in the Lord's Test. 

Michael Vaughan beckoned before the second Test against Pakistan at Headingley by proposing that either Broad or James Anderson, England's two all-time great pace bowlers be dropped "ruffle some feathers" after the host face a loss by 9 wickets at Lord's cricket ground.

Stuart Broad disclosed that he had called Vaughan to consider what he thought were "targeted and "unfair" remarks. In the second Test at Leed, all-time England's great pace bowlers took three wickets respectively in Pakistan's first inning at Headingley where the host comfortably won the two-match Test series 1-1.

Notably, Broad chose to refer Vaughan, his first England's skipper not by the former Yorkshire batsman's name but simply by a "pundit"

"It's fair to say it's been an interesting week for me and the team on and off the field," Broad had written.

"I spoke to the press after play on Friday night and was asked about the views of a pundit who had criticised me.

"Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but surely that also means players have the right to respond to comments made about them?"," he wrote.

England won the second Test match against Pakistan at Headingley by an innings and 55 runs, Jos Buttler was awarded the Man of the Match.
