Jos Buttler has two words to keep the beast inside him alive. We got to know Buttler's note-to-self after he thrashed Pakistan with the bat to score an unbeaten 110-ball 80 in the second Test at Headingley Carnegie.

When the cameraman zoomed into Buttler's bat, viewers spotted that the message written on the top of his bat handle was 'f**k it'.

The T20 cricket virtuoso got a call in England Test team after showing excellent form in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. He scored 548 runs in just 13 innings at an average of 54.80 for Rajasthan Royals.

The two words on top of his bat help him keep going. The 27-year-old had revealed it himself talking to former England cricketer Michael Vaughan during an interview with the Telegraph back in 2015.

"I was constantly searching for something and you kid yourself that someone out there has got that secret to batting that they can give you one piece of advice that will enable you to go and score a hundred every time," he said. "It is silly. By trying to learn I confused myself. But you know what? If I just watch the ball and let my natural instinct take over I back myself to get something on the ball whether I bat right or left handed."

A win for England in the second Test against Pakistan leveled the series with 1-1. Earlier in the series, the tourists had stunned everyone by winning the first Test by 9 wickets.
