Alex Hales, England's limited overs opener wants to keep focussing on his aim to do well for the three lions in next year's ICC Cricket World Cup and is extremely determined for its preparation but has stated that by no means his red ball career is over and return to first-class cricket after the end of the marquee event at home next year. 

Earlier Alex Hales had opted out of four-day games for his county Nottinghamshire, so as to not find any disturbances to his immediate endeavour which is to try and ensure a maiden World Cup win for his nation. 

Hales was recently quoted saying to BBC Radio Nottingham that, “I’m certainly not turning my back on four-day cricket, For 18 months I wanted to dedicate all my practice and all my energy to getting as good as I can at white-ball cricket just for the World Cup.”

The explosive opener is absolutely determined for his goals. He recently turned up for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, where he earned some invaluable lessons playing in varying conditions, and helped SRH reach the final of the tournament. 

He further talked about his game right now and concluded by saying, “The energy and enthusiasm I’ve now got turning up to practice and all the matches involving white-ball cricket is the most I’ve ever had in my career,” 

Hales has been selected to play in the ODIs against Scotland and Australia and will be seen opening the batting alongside Jason Roy for the Eoin Morgan side.
